This document outlines the common Aid Codes for 5250.
*The AID (attention indicator) code identifies to the host system the function being requested from the keyboard.
*The Attention Identification Code is a byte sequence that is generated when the operator presses certain function keys. The following AIDs are supported by the 5250 protocol emulator
